Bf 2 Competition

After the Counter Strike Source tournament finishes, theaubergineroom will be running a similar ladder/competition, but with Battlefield 2
It will be possible to play this tournament on an online ranked server, allowing players to actually gain promotions and new weapons and badges as they progress.
This will also mean that the more dedicated players will be rewarded for their perseverance, and the competition should get better as it progresses, as new weapons are employed.
The vehicle drops introduced in patch 1.3 should also help to make things fun
What do people think?
Do you want to play on an online ranked server, or stay on a LAN?
Remember that if people do choose the ranked option there will be oportunities to progress.
New accounts will have to be created for the tournament, and only used during the tournament, to stop people who are already l337 having a huge advantage :p
