Build your own plasma gun or Tesla coil

This redefines awesome. In case the musical Tesla coils weren't enough - perhaps hankering after your own, personal coil for those dark winter nights? - the geniuses at RM Cybernetics have released do-it-yourself instructions for making your own personal Tesla coil.

As if that wasn't enough, they've also released details on how to make a smaller coil, which will fit inside a cordless drill body - the plasma gun.
