Do you use Ebay?

Ebay's a great place to find - and sell - useful bits and bobs. If you sell on Ebay, however, the interface can be a bit cumbersome and slow.

We've just installed the latest version of Ebay's TurboLister application - a simple, easy to use program that helps you get your auction items listed faster and more successfully.

Along with this, we're also making our digital camera available for use - for free! Just bring the items you want to sell in to the centre, and you can take pictures there and then. Our staff will then help you upload those photos and add them to your auction.

As an added bonus to make your life as an Ebay seller easier, we're also making our fax machine available. Just register your Ebay username with us (so we can give the right faxes to the right people) and you can list our fax number in your auction, to recieve incoming faxes from interested bidders.

Counter Strike: Source - Season 2

After the success of the first season of our Counter Strike: Source league, we're launching Season 2 for the autumn. The fixture times remain the same, but this time round we've got some even bigger prizes up for grabs:

First place: £100 cash!

Second place: week pass

Third place: day pass

This time round the league is based on a lottery - for each and every kill a player makes, they get a ticket. At the end of the season 3 tickets are drawn at random to choose the winners.

So forget about your K/D ratio - this is about kills! Rack them as fast as you can to be in with the greatest chance of winning!

The league will culminate in a final late night event on Saturday 28th October - the end of October half term.

Battlefield 2 - we have a winner!

Our regular weeknight IGUK FFAs have landed one lucky player a real reward for his skill.

Will took part in a fiercely contested match, playing against seasoned players from IGUK centres around the UK. At the end of the FFA, he walked away with the top prize - £50 in cash!

Registration for the FFA closes at 6:30pm - get in before then to join our regular players and be in with a chance to win that cash.

Dawn of War: Winter Assault Ladder

Our final competition anouncement: we're starting a Dawn of War: Winter Assault Ladder.

Full details can be found on the Tournaments page on our website here. Also keep an eye out for the Challenges forum, where players can issue their ladder challenges, and staff will post up the results of each match.

Each entrant in the ladder pays a £20 entry fee. This money goes in to the pot, with the player at the to top of the ladder winning the lot at the end of the season.

So, if 20 players enter, you could be in with a chance of winning £400!

In a Ladder tournament, all players get an initial ranking. You can only challenge the three players immediately above you on the ladder to a match. If you win, you swap places with them on the ladder.

A fiercely competitive and closely fought way of playing, the ladder will test your RTS skills to the absolute limit - and beyond!
