Each Saturday IGUK are running a Defcon FFA. The usual format applies - you win a certain number of FFA tickets depending on how well you do in the match.

However, this one's a little bit different - there are over £20k worth of prizes up for grabs! From top of the line gaming gear to a monster plasma TV - there are enough prizes that anyone, no matter how bad you think you are, is in with a chance to win something.

Come in and talk to our staff about taking part, and then show up at the centre on Saturday, making sure you've left plenty of time for registration. Why not pop in today and start getting some practise in?

Many of you have never sampled the retro delights of Darwinia - a foolish decision! This incredibly addictive and tricky RTS game features many great innovations, as well as excellent retro graphics.

If you haven't played it in the centre, you should, because tiny studio Introversion have announced that they are working on a multiplayer version - and you're going to need all your skills to master that.

Expect a formal announcement at next week Games Developers Conference, but at the moment we can expect to see the new title surface in early 2008.
