Guild Wars: Eye of the North preview this weekend!

Just a quick reminder to everyone that the Eye of the North Sneak Peek weekend starts *this Friday*. It's only £4 from the online store to get the pre-release pack, which is a lot of value when you consider that it gives you 72 hours playtime over the coming Bank Holiday weekend. Remember that all XP, items, skills, missions etc. are kept - you'll be able to get a good jump on everyone else, and keep everything you find as well.

The two new races are the Asura and the Norn, and it'll be interesting to see how we'll get to interact with them. Will they just be available to grant missions and quests, or are there some new heroes to pick up?

I'm also really eager to check out the Hall of Monuments. This is where special skills, Title Tracks, and special items can be 'stored' for use/bonuses in Guild Wars 2. The whole concept is a really interesting one, and I'm really keen to see how ArenaNet manage this. I'm sure there will be tweaks as time goes by - most likely by expanding the objects that can be stored there - but the first cut should give a good idea of the areas of focus that ArenaNet have in GW2.
