Joysticks
We've been testing out joysticks with Battlefield 2 recently, and we at theaubergineroom, definately think they are well worth it especially for flying. After 1/2 hour of warming up, you can pull loop the loops easier than caching a dead chicken. The joystick, whether in a helicopter or fighter plane, improves your flying experience and is well worth it.
So what joysticks would you suggest we get in? I've got a Trust Predator joystick. 4 button, with a throttle control, 8 button HAT and wide base. But do you have a better one? Or know of a better one?

yahooI have at home the Saitek
I have at home the Saitek x45 flight control system (fancy name for a joystick eh :P) And love it however the split control system can get annoying.
For battlefield however I have found the joystick we have here at the aubergine room, the Saitek st90. It's in a fantastic small form factor putting all the controls right where you need them. If your looking to buy a new joystick I strongly recommend popping down here and putting in some time using the st90 before you look at anything else!

I wouldn't know what joystick to get, because I've never had one. At home, I just use my keyboard and mouse. They seem to work for everything, even if they aren't as good as a joystick.
