While delayed launch dates are never good news, it's nice to see the Tabula Rasa developers admitting to pushing back the release date to fix bugs found in the beta.

The posting from Starr Long on the Tabula Rasa Community News site explains:

"Many of you have heard my mantra for game development: "Stable, Fast, Fun. In that order." We need a little more time to make that happen.

With the closed beta in full-swing, NCSoft have pushed out a cool-looking cinematic trailer for the upcoming Tabula Rasa. With beta testers describing it as a sci-fi third person shooter, it sounds like there could be a lot of good ideas hidden away there.
Two things are clear - the trailer certainly generates some interest in the game, and Lord British knows how to develop good games with compelling stories - and for MMOs, it's the back stories that really help immerse you in the gaming world.
