Well, it looks like the developers LucasArts have retained have finally finished faffing around with their Wii-motes and have announced that everyone else gets a go soon too.

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed is coming to the Nintendo Wii, and LucasArts have confirmed that the Wii-mote will be used to control the light sabre, and the nunchuk will be used to control your Force powers.

Those Wii jokes are just never going to die :-)

Market share reports show Nintendo's Wii is giving Sony and Microsoft a solid kicking - the sales figures are insane. It's still pretty difficult to find any Wiis actually on the shelve in the UK - most people I know have been ordering on-line and waiting for the delivery.

Good news then, as we approach the Christmas season (yeah, I know) - Reggie Fils-Aime, head honcho of Nintendo in the US, has responded to criticisms of Wii supply.

LucasArts used to be the greatest game company in the universe. They created the best graphical adventures - Maniac Mansion, Monkey Island, Loom, Sam and Max. They tapped into the rich Star Wars universe and gave us the greatest combat sims ever - the X-Wing series. And then came the Star Wars first person shooters - who can forget the first time they played Dark Forces?

But now! Now, LucasArts have falled to the Dark Side.
