Cheap Guild Wars Gold

wow

Now there's something you don't see every day

| | |

It seems that the popularity of WoW has reached a level such that even mainstream media want in on the action.

Check out this (actually pretty funny) Toyota advert:

Blizzard accepting Paypal for WoW subscriptions

| | | |

This is pretty big, and a long time coming. Blizzard have announced that they are finally accepting Paypal for WoW subscription payments.

This means you no longer need a credit card - you can use your normal debit card (like Switch) to pay through Paypal.

I know a number of players who'll be thrilled that they're not reliant on their parents credit cards to continue playing each month :-)

Don't forget we also sell 60 day timecards in the centre, if you want to continue playing using good old fashioned cash.

WoW: Wrath of the Lich King confirmed

| | |

WorldOfRaids have gotten the scoop on this - complete with pictures from BlizzCon!

It looks like Wrath of the Lich King will bring:

  • The dark, necromatic Death Knight, the first new character class added to World of Warcraft since its launch
  • Northrend, the harsh, icy continent where the Lich King holds rule, complete with new zones, quests, items and monsters
  • New level cap of 80 providing access to mighty new powers and talents
  • New battlegrounds featuring siege engine warfare and destructible buildings

Next WoW expansion: World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King

| | |

Word from Germany, and their ratings board, the USK, have just announced that "World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King (DEMO)" will carry a 12 certificate.

Whoops, the cat's out the of the bag - looks like that's going to be the next World of Warcraft expansion then, with the timing right for the newly rated demo to be pushing out at the Leipzig games conference (and announced at BlizzCon).

Gold farmers summoning dead gnomes from the sky!

| | | | | | |

Recent WoW patches from Blizzard have addressed some of the spamming issues presented by gold farmers, eager to foist their wares.

In a bizarre sort of spam arms race, the gold farmers have fought back - they're using client-side hacks to summon dead gnomes to fall from the sky.

They're then arranging the bodies to form adverts for their gold selling websites. Check out the screen shot from outside the Ironforge bank.

World of Warcraft: The Armoury

| | | | |

If you play WoW and haven't heard of this, you need to check it out. Blizzard have made available something called The Armoury.

(Actually, it's called The Armory, but I'm not an American, and therefore can spell)

It can be found at http://armory.wow-europe.com/

Hooked into the game servers, it has real time data on characters, teams and Guilds.

It's pretty good - I can do a bit of Nat stalking:
