Let's get this party started!

The Canthan New Year Festivities are in full swing. Head on over to Shing Jea Monastery for a weekend of fun.

Bearing in mind the Chinese theme, there are lots of explosive fireworks to be had, plus sparklers, rice wine (a personal favourite there), and Red Bean cake, which gives you a sugar rush ;-)

As you can see, they've got the decorations up:

And there are also the usual special Festival quests. I've got a stack of fireworks which I shall be using pretty soon ;-)

For Monty Python fans, how about taking on the Knights Who Say Nian?

As it's the Chinese Year of the Pig, you can also win pig mini-pets as prizes. If you're particularly good, you can acquire a special golden pig mini-pet.
