Well, a few hours before it all goes live, Valve have said that they won't be releasing Portal to LAN centres on the Steam for Cafes program until ...... Boxing Day.

I know a lot of people have been asking for Portal and have been eager to play it, and I'm afraid I have to say sorry. You'll be playing it by yourself at home until after Christmas.

But The Orange Box is also coming out on the 360, so why not just get it for that? :)

im still not sure about portal i hope they do some kind ov mulitplayer mod where instead of guns all u get is portal devices and have to kill the other people by making em fall and go splat or into a random fire room :P
