New website ideas

Hey everyone,

We've got a request for you guys for a change, our dear users!

We are planning a pretty majoy overhaul to the website and as part of the process of deciding on the design and functionality of the new site we would like to find out from you, the people who use the site, what you would like it to do.

Our aim is to make the site a lot more active and dynamic, to give you all more opportunities to get more involved. We are thinking of having a lot more content being added to the site (apart from the forums) – this could take the form of news, game reviews, opinions, hints & tips, online games, etc.

So offer up your suggestions here. Don't hold back with your thoughts, we are interested in any ideas you have, big or small. For example, you might want links to digg or delicious on all the posts on the site. Maybe you all want the ability to write your own blogs (and show Dilbert up for his pitiful efforts ;-). Perhaps you would like to be able to show off your flickr photos within our site. You could be wanting to have sections about music and films in addition to gaming. The posibillities are endless (just don't be too upset if we pass on your idea to add live controls uplinked to an orbiting Death Star)…

At this stage we are just after ideas. When we have your ideas and can gague their popularity, we will combine them with our own to come up with the final list.
