A new scanner has been installed in the centre, and is now available for use by all our members. Whether you want to scan in some photos, or scan a letter into Microsoft Word, our new scanner can help.

When you need to save your scanned data or move it around, we have a range of USB memory sticks available, for just £9.99!

We also have a floppy disk drive available in case you've got documents on floppies, and on top of all of these we have a memory card reader.

No matter how your data is stored, we've got the technology available for you to access it on our machines.

Free phone calls with Skype !

Skype is a great little application that allows you to make telephone calls, via the Internet. You can call other Skype users for free, or you can call a normal landline - anywhere in the world - at a fraction of the normal cost.

You can either use the headsets we have an all computers in the centre, or you can use the special Skype handsets we have available. They look like normal mobile phones, but plugged in to the computers they work with Skype.

Setting up a Skype account, and calling other Skype numbers, is completely free. Pop in today and try it out!

Competition Time

On our forums we've just announced a new competition! We've got two boxed sets of Jackass DVDs to give away - the complete first 3 series, as well as a special bonus DVD.

The competition rules are simple - record a funny video in the centre and post it to the competition thread on the forums. In 4 weeks time we'll vote for the two funniest videos, the two winners each receiving a Jackass boxed set.

There are also other prizes to be handed out for videos which we thing were particularly good but which didn't quite make the top spots - so plenty of motivation to get those camera phones out and start filming!

Faster Internet connections for all!

We've just finished the first stage in upgrading our Internet connection. Our new line is over 4 times faster than the previous one, which will benefit gamers and Internet users alike.

Over the next few weeks we'll be installing some extra technology to speed things up even further, especially when web browsing. These upgrades won't cause any disruption - in fact, the only thing you'll notice is faster load times when viewing your favourite sites!

If you have an Internet connection at home and are started to get frustrated with it's speed, pop in and have a chat with our staff, who will be able to talk you through the various upgrade options that are available.
