The Norn
Despite the freezing temperature of the mountains, the Norn ladies seem to wander around in fur bikinis. The blokes have full plate mail armour. Bizarre I say.
The Norn are a suspicious bunch. You'll come across a fair few of them when exploring Far Shiverpeaks - usually next to a resurrection shrine. Initially, you have no reputation with the Norn. When you try to talk to them, they'll demand you prove yourself by fighting them.
A quick word of warning, here: the Norn have the ability to transform into giant bears. This makes them pretty fierce opponents, especially as they seem to retain their weapons and casting abilities.
They do however take a few seconds to cast their bear-trasform skill, giving you a chance to get a few quick hits off. Quickly administer a righteous beating, and you'll gain some Norn Reputation. Open up your Hero window and you'll see a new Title Track - the Norn Title Track.
Having beaten your first Norn in combat, they'll grant you the Norn Hunting Party bonus. For each creature you kill in that area, you'll get 1 Norn reputation point.
After killing 25 creatures, you get a bonus of an extra 15 Norn reputation points. But wait! Having reached that 25, go back and talk to each Norn you've met - they'll give you an extra 20 Norn reputation points for being so bad arse.
This all stacks up - you get another bonus after killing 50 creatures. This second bonus is Strength of the Norn, and echantment spell that lasts for 60 seconds. While it's active, you get +100 health, and after the 60 seconds are up, you're healed for 100 health.
Having made 50 kills, the next Norn you talk to will give you the Norn Hunting Party Level 2 blessing, which adds an extra 2 points per creature killed.
As you can see, with some careful planning of who you talk to, these bonuses can quickly snowball, resulting in a rapid and massive increase in your Norn Title Track.
Just as with the Kurzick and Luxon Title Tracks, no-one is going to talk to you until you've got some Reputation. Try and chat to any of the Norn in the Eye of the North - they'll tell you to get lost.
Once you've achieved a few ranks of Reputation you can start getting goodies and dealing with the Norn in the various towns and settlements you come across. As with other race-specific Title Tracks you can also assume they're be some sweet skills to pick up later on.
