PC Training

Technology moves quickly, and it's only too easy to let your IT skills get rusty. Maybe you've not used a particular application before? Or perhaps you want to learn how to do something specific, but aren't sure where to start?

Come in to the centre and chat to our knowledgable staff, who'll be pleased to guide and help you. Alternatively, if you'd like to arrange some one-to-one coaching sessions, to help you get the most out of a PC, talk to our centre manager Tim, who can discuss the options with you.

We offer a range of personalised coaching courses, ranging from an initial 2 hour overview, to longer term sessions of a few hours every week, covering detailed usage of Microsoft Office and the Internet.

PlanetSide Saturdays

Shaun has been leading teams of Planetside newcomers to victory with some intense and challenging combat missions. Take the skills you've picked up from Battlefield 2 and Counter Strike and take them to the next level!

Keep an eye on what's happening with Shaun's updates in the forums - and come down on Saturdays to take part in the mayhem.

EVE Masterclasses

EVE is a complex and interesting game, and it can be overwhelming at first. With that in mind we've started offering EVE Masterclasses.

Just show up between at 10am each Sunday for a 2 hour session devoted to exploring an aspect of EVE, helping you get more fun out of the game.

Check the ongoing discussions on our forums. You can see what's been covered before, and ask for a specific aspect of the game to be covered.

The first Masterlass went very well, with a detailed overview on how to use skills and attributes to give your character the best possible start.

This Sunday we'll be looking at agents, and finding out how to make a small fortune working for the various Empires.

Although there's no extra charge for these sessions, we do try and limit the places to 4-5 people. If you know someone who would like to get more from EVE, forward them this email and make sure they put their name down.

Also remember that we have FREE EVE client CDs - just come in to the centre and ask for one. You can also take advantage of the 14 day free trial offer to really get a taste for this complex and involving game.

CV Writing Service

With the end of term nearing and summer in full swing, it's time to dust off those CVs and start thinking about a summer job, or moving to a new position somewhere more challenging.
