World of Warcraft: The Armoury
If you play WoW and haven't heard of this, you need to check it out. Blizzard have made available something called The Armoury.
(Actually, it's called The Armory, but I'm not an American, and therefore can spell)
It can be found at http://armory.wow-europe.com/
Hooked into the game servers, it has real time data on characters, teams and Guilds.
It's pretty good - I can do a bit of Nat stalking:

And I can see who the slackers are from the TAR Guild who haven't got it together enough for some Guild photo shoots:

Also some interesting Guild stats (tut tut tut - only one Level 70?):

Being Blizzard it's pretty slow (sorry, can't help myself) but it's certainly neat. EVE has a similar sort of thing via their website, but only for items (ships, modules, skills, etc.) - this is the first time I've seen a real-time system for looking at characters and Guilds.
Interesting stuff.
Cheers,
TOM

Not quite real-time - Last update on the 6th? Poor show =P
As for "quite" slow? Dear god I hear the original Netscape was faster than that.
In principle its a damn good idea - But it needs work, or at least speed optimising.
EVE does have some character data available - Can be accessed under your acount details IIRC, as well as some sites that allow folks to post their skills and gloat at others =P
